In 2021, UNT introduced Eagle Landing, the university’s first standalone dining hall, inspired by urban food halls and featuring seven distinct restaurant concepts—all available for a single Meal Plan swipe.

Position Overview
This fulltime position reports to the Director of Budget and Operations. This position interacts with offices, including the UNT Procurement, Supplier Management, and Accounting System while maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and protocol. Coordinates activities and acts as university wide liaison. Identifies issues or problems and research solutions within specific management areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of UNT account payable procedures. Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, and to handle multiple tasks. Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats. Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships. Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume operations and AP/AR; 5 years preferred.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties:
- Efficiently processes requisitions for all Dining departments.
- Acts as a liaison between Dining locations, suppliers, and UNT Accounting offices.
- Processes the daily batch of Quick Pay transactions.
- Monitors and controls Dining’s mailbox
- Strives to improve work methods to increase efficiency and ensure accuracy in reporting
- Weekly reports on BPO account activities for each Dining location by supplier.
- Manages vendor registration through PaymentWorks.
- Handles PCard orders and reconciles monthly statements.
- Processes check deposits.
- Serves as a backup for I-9 processing, applicant dispositioning, and new hire training.
- %Serves as backup for employment-related processes.
- Keeps the Director fully informed of business matters and reprioritizes tasks as needed.
- Assists with other assignments as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must adhere to an 8-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch break.
