The vision of the Department of Biomedical Engineering is to create an innovative, interdisciplinary academic program that emphasizes the fundamentals of biomedical engineering; state of the art applications pertaining to biomedical instrumentation, biomechanics, biomaterials, biotechnology, biocomputing and other healthcare related areas in an environment of life-long learning and research.
Position Overview
The Department of Biomedical Engineering seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 semesters; for anticipated course(s): BMEN 5800 - Topics in Biomedical Engineering.
The need for an adjunct will depend upon department needs, sufficient student enrollment, and dean approval.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or relevant industry and/ or research experience in Biomedical Engineering.
