Department Summary

The Department of Counseling and Higher Education promotes human development through education, research, and service that advance the professions of, and scholarship in, counseling and higher education.

Position Overview

The Department of Counseling & Higher Education seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The specific courses involved may vary from semester.

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in counseling or related field. Teaching experience in counseling or counselor education program. Teaching experience in counseling.

MASTER level CACREP core classes or electives - must hold a PhD

UNDERGRADUATE level - must hold a Master's degree. Counseling Program MASTER level CACREP core classes or electives and/or undergrad counseling associate studies minor program classes.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in counseling from a CACREP accredited program; TX Licensed Professional Counselor and/or certified School counselor, TX LPT-Supervisor.
