Department Summary

The Department of Teacher Education and Administration seeks to improve educational practice through the generation of knowledge and to prepare professionals who serve students in an effective, inclusive, and equitable manner. Our focus is on the preparation of highly competent educators, educational researchers, and administrators who employ current theory and research as they fill these important roles. The department also provides service to educational institutions, governmental agencies, and practitioners at all levels.

Position Overview

The Department of Teacher Education & Administration seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at this time.

The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and opening to teach these courses to develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Earned master's degree in the appropriate field and at least 18 semester hours in the appropriate field for undergraduate courses.

Assignments associated with teaching graduate courses whose duties may include 5000 and 6000 level courses. A doctoral degree in the appropriate field and at least 18 semester hours in the appropriate field are required to be considered for teaching graduate level courses.

Preferred Qualifications

Higher education teaching experience.
Experience with online/hybrid instruction.
Earned doctoral degree.
