Position Overview
This is a public-facing position providing administrative support and student-oriented services for the School of Literature, Languages, and Cultures. This position requires use of independent judgement and initiative in event planning, scheduling, and responding to student, faculty, and staff needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and three years of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

- Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.

- Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
Job Duties
- Performs tasks for school director, administrative coordinator, undergraduate advising office, and visitors.
- Assists with ePARs for adjuncts and other positions. Processes all adjunct documentation.
- Performs a significant amount of purchasing for the School, specifically PCard and purchase orders: equipment, supplies, services, memberships, guest speaker and lodging reimbursements. Maintains budget tracking sheets.
- Maintains the websites for the programs housed in the School.
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding student, staff, and faculty records.
- Responsible for event receptions hosted by the School.
- Prepares SPOT course evaluations.
- Assists Administrative Coordinator in managing and tracking equipment. Surpluses abandoned items. Ensures Property Custody forms for offsite equipment are completed before it is released the the faulty member.
