Position Overview
The Department of Pediatrics and Women’s Health is seeking to hire an Hourly Admin to join our Maternal Health Program Redaction Team in support of our maternal mortality case preparation project under the direction of Dr. Amy Raines and Dr. Martha Felini. The selected applicant will report directly to the Project Coordinator, Tosin Fadeyi, providing redaction services for maternal death records including medical records, autopsies, investigative reports, and other relevant documents.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or related field, or combination of education & experience.
- Interest in Women’s/Maternal Health.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe DC and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the field of Women’s/Maternal Health.
- Experience in Medical Records redaction.

Job Duties:
- Redaction of identifiable data elements from electronic files and populating data into provided templates.
- Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as preparing routine correspondence, redaction of identifiable data elements from electronic files, and populating data into provided templates.
- Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files related to the Maternal Health Program.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Work Schedule:
Part-time; up to 19 hours per week. TBD.
