UNT Dining Services is home to Mean Greens Café, the nation’s first 100% vegan collegiate dining hall, and Kitchen West, Texas’ first and only university dining hall certified Free From™ the Big 8 food allergens and gluten. Position Overview

This role involves preparing, cooking, and serving food, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. Whether working in a cafeteria, campus cafe, or catering for campus events, the food service worker contributes to creating a positive dining experience for the campus community.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to maintain records and complete forms accurately. Knowledge of the care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils. Knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service and necessary precautionary measures. Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed.

Job Duties

  • Produces high-quality items each meal service, including daily prepared items. 
  • Knowledge of the proper care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils, understands health hazards related to food preparation and service, and is aware of necessary precautionary measures, including safety and security protocols relevant to the work performed. 
  • Follows standardized processes to minimize turnaround time and ensure a consistent supply of cleaned and sanitized dishes. Trains hourly staff on proper washing, sanitizing, and handling techniques to uphold high standards, while ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.

The position develops and maintains relationships with advisors at various higher education institutions and represents UNT Health at college fairs, recruitment events, and other outreach activities throughout the DFW area, across Texas, and at out-of-state institutions. Travel is a significant component of this position. The Recruitment/Admissions Associate will regularly travel throughout the DFW area, across the State of Texas, and to out-of-state institutions to represent UNT Health at college fairs, recruitment events, campus visits, and other outreach opportunities. The position is responsible for coordinating travel arrangements and logistics associated with recruitment activities, including utilizing a department travel card to arrange and manage rental vehicles, hotel accommodations, and flights. Financial Aid Administrator

This position will assist with the administration of various scholarship programs to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant awarding of aid. This employee will serve as a primary contact for campus partners regarding UNT scholarship administration. Serves as the UNT university official responsible for knowledge of Title IX regulations, OCR reporting requirements, and related federal compliance frameworks. responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing compliance with all aspects of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (VAWA) and Campus SaVe Act. Adjunct Assistant/Associate Professor

The Adjunct Assistant/Associate Professor is the faculty member responsible for the development, delivery, and assessment of curriculum content within TCOM’s integrated, medical curriculum.
