Position Overview
The Director of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the System Administration compliance program, and for collaborating with the UNT System Administration Chief Compliance Officer to build an effective program that aligns the System Administration compliance framework, processes and practices with the strategic objectives of the UNT System component campuses and their compliance programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of relevant work experience in institutional compliance and ethics, or any compliance-related field.

Experience drafting compliance program or compliance related policies

Job Duties
- % - Collaborate with System Administration business units to identify and assess compliance risks related to delivery of centralized and shared services, including in the areas of finance, procurement, human resources, equal opportunity/Title IX, facilities, information technology, academic programs and student success, open government, records retention, and other areas as necessary. - ()
- % - Identify and recommend revision to compliance related UNT System Regents Rules, System Regulations, and System Administration Policies, and monitor federal and state laws and regulations that directly affect these rules, regulations and policies. - (Essential)
- % - Administer an effective system for receiving and resolving reports of suspected noncompliance including conducting investigations and protecting individuals who report suspected noncompliance or participate in compliance related activities - (Essential)
- % - Develop and present reports to the Chancellor and UNT System Board of Regents and/or a Board of Regents Committee on matters related to compliance risks, the state of the compliance program, and compliance investigations. - (Essential)
- % - Develop metrics to monitor and measure the effectiveness of the compliance framework. - (Essential)
- % - Develop and deliver compliance related education and training and collaborate with the Secretary of the Board of Regents to develop and implement a compliance education and training program for, members of the Board of Regents; Coordinate and manage the System Executive Compliance Committee. - (Essential)
- % - Develop and maintain a robust web presence that provides relevant and current compliance related education and guidance to System Administration officials and the public. - (Essential)
- % - Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide compliance initiatives that proactively address emerging regulatory risks, including the integration of advanced compliance technologies (such as data analytics and artificial intelligence) to enhance risk detection, reporting, and mitigation across all UNT System component campuses. Collaborate with executive leadership to align these initiatives with institutional strategic objectives and ensure continuous improvement of the compliance program. - (Essential)
