Position Overview
The Counseling & Higher Education Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Doctoral Internship Field Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to meet with Counseling Internship, doctoral level students. Coordinate and meet with site supervisors multiple times each semester and evaluate and report student progress with university supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Position requires PhD
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Supervisor PhD students in Internship/Practicum setting while counseling clients. Ability to effectively supervise counselor trainees and provide feedback. Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD CACREP institution, Licensed in TX

Job Duties:
- Observe COUN Doctoral Students during client sessions. Work with CHDC Clinic Director on student needs.
- Assist students with counseling clients during sessions.
Physical Requirements:
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Environmental Hazards:
No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Work Schedule:
5 to 10 hours per week, depending on schedule
