Position Overview
Performs senior level managerial oversight in support of the ERP client/server enterprise system, ancillary applications, interfaces to third-party products and systems, and related technology. Work involves overseeing the planning, scheduling, assigning, and coordinating of ERP and other enterprise application related projects; analyzing proposed computer application selections; and providing technical and business knowledge and expertise in support of the UNT System entities and their technology needs. Responsible for ensuring applications and data are secure, and security and compliance standards are adhered to relating to all facets of the ERP and related enterprise applications. Manages a team of technical team leads within area of responsibility. Functions as a liaison between ITSS and key business stakeholders. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and seven (7) years of closely related professional experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules (9.2 preferred).
Experience with Fluid.
Experience in Higher Education (Financial Aid, Admissions and Enrollment, Student Finance verticals).
Experience working in Agile and leading change during an Agile transformation.
Experience working with Power BI and Service Now.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties
- Manage team of technical team leads and provide direction and guidance in support of their teams; provides leadership by example in coaching, performance management and career development.
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, and participate in staffing decisions made by team leads.
- Stay abreast of advances in technology.
- Develops and maintains strong business partner relationships at a senior/middle management level, by meeting with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Accountable for planning and execution of multiple IT projects; provides leadership for multiple project teams; IT resource allocation, expense management, development of project objectives and ongoing communication of project outcomes.
- Accountable for resolving high impact problems related to project execution, support, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
- Accountable for setting appropriate performance expectations and holding staff accountable for delivery of results.
- Accountable for effective application of all IT goals, policies, practices, and procedures.
- Provides leadership in ongoing, cost-effective applications development methodology.
- Directs daily operations of subdivision, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
- Evaluate technology requests to aid in the assessment of project feasibility and requirements.
- Evaluate the organizations technology use and needs, and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades or replacements.
