Department Summary
The Academic Summer Bridge program will promote college-readiness for students who are admitted to the University that allows them to obtain course credit before the Fall starts.
Position Overview
The Faculty Program Manager will serve to administer the Academic Summer Bridge program under the supervision of the Office of the Provost. This employee will have the rank of Lecturer, teach as a part of the Summer Bridge program during the summer, and teach in the department of Languages, Linguistics, and Rhetoric during the fall and spring semesters.
Minimum Qualifications
· Master’s degree in English or other closely related field from a regionally accredited university
· Extensive experience teaching in developmental education
· Evidence or demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching
· Documented experience in planning and organizing student programs
· Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and team-building communication skills
