The Department of Physics at UNT, are at the forefront of pioneering research, driving significant achievements across theoretical and experimental projects, from astronomy to condensed matter, and extending into cross-disciplinary fields, reflecting our unwavering commitment to advancing the boundaries of physics.

Position Overview

The Department of Physics at the University of North Texas is offering a postdoctoral research associate position to work on a federally sponsored fundamental science research project that is broadly focused on analyzing physiological data using the method of Diffusion Entropy adapted to Parkinson synchronization under different conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Physics, or another closely related field. The candidate must show proficiency in analyzing data.

Preferred Qualifications

Research experience in fields that are related to the focus areas of the position.

Job Duties:

  • Other research duties as assigned.
  • Assist with reporting of research progress to funding agencies. 
  • Publication and scientific dissemination.
  • Conduct experiments, gather data, document research notes, analyze data, interpret data.
