Department Summary
The Psychology department serves over 3,000 students. We offer undergraduate (i.e., B.A. and B.S. Majors in Psychology) and graduate programs (i.e., PhD in Behavioral Sciences, Clinical Psychology, and Counseling Psychology). Our Clinical and Counseling programs are APA accredited.
Position Overview
This position would be responsible for providing administrative support for the graduate student program in the psychology clinic, as well as providing administrative support for client related services. This role would include, but is not limited to, assisting graduate student clinicians in administrative matters, communicating with, checking in, and taking payments from clients, and coordinating with other clinic staff members. Answer phone calls from clients, assist in completing phone screening forms, triage emergency situations, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and three years of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.

Job Duties
- Responsible for administrative operations for the clinic and assisting students and faculty
- Responsible for communicating with and handling clients
- Coordinating with and assisting the Sr. Administrative Specialist and Clinical Director
- Filling an on-call role with the Testing Equipment Storeroom assistants as well as helping the clinic's Graduate Student Assistant

Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
