The Registrar's Office provides support services to students, faculty, staff and other constituents in the areas of academic advising support programs, course scheduling, enrollment, degree verification, transfer articulation, test credit, athletic certification and maintenance of student academic records, as well as handles state and federal reporting.

Position Overview
This position is responsible for the day to day management of Certifications and Reporting overseeing customer service and processes related to the accuracy integrity of academic and student records and corresponding systems. Serves as an escalation resource for problem resolution. Work is performed within various student platforms and information systems, ensuring upgrades, maintenance and continuity. This role requires direct interaction with students, former students, faculty, and staff, to handle a variety of inquiries, often requiring diplomacy, critical thinking and problem resolution. Responsible for developing training and ensuring compliance with a range of institutional, state, and federal regulations.
This position requires a detail driven critical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is technically proficient in various software platforms and understands interdependencies. This role requires discernment and problem-solving to review escalations and complex and collaborative processes. Promotes and generates collaboration across teams to achieve a collective outcome. Creates a unified team that get results optimizing outcomes and impact that directly affects enrollment and retention.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three year of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

* Skill in using computer applications including word processing software or ability to quickly assimilate.
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing high-quality customer service.

Job Duties
- Manages a team of staff including hiring, training, development and mentoring, evaluating, planning, timekeeping, scheduling and assigning work activities.
- Coordinates customer service, systems and technical processes, daily processing and monitoring workloads for a team that serves students, faculty, and staff across the university.
- Ongoing support for programs and systems that facilitate enrollment and retention.
- Provides strategic guidance and support while communicating a broad range of policy and procedural information to students, former students, faculty and staff. Interprets policy and aids stakeholders in resolution of problems including escalations and troubleshooting for their area of specialization.
- Communicates and enforces timelines, policies and practices to ensure compliance with all state, federal and accrediting agencies.
- Reviews and evaluates business processes for continuous improvement and proposes solutions to improve overall institutional and student success.
- Performs system testing related to platform upgrades and business process changes.
- Drafts, updates and maintains consistency across internal business process documentation.
- Prepares, analyzes and monitors reports and statistical data to ensure compliance with university, state and federal regulations and in support of university goals.
- Rapidly learns a variety of complex software systems and maintains technical proficiency to process, research, and respond to customer requests.
