Department Summary

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Advising Office's mission is to teach, assist, and empower students to define, clarify and achieve academic and personal goals through professional, caring service. 

Position Overview

The Department of College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters.

UCRS 2100 Career Development course is taught by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and is designed to be interdisciplinary and applicable to any degree program.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Counseling, Higher Education, or a related field with coursework in the career-related field. 3 years working directly with college students including 1 year academic counseling experience and 1 semester teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Areas of expertise should include career development theory, MBTI, Assessment, Strong interest inventory, and marketability of a major. Licensure or teacher certification is preferred, but not required.
