Department Summary

The Department of Counseling and Higher Education promotes human development through education, research, and service that advance the professions of, and scholarship in, counseling and higher education.

Position Overview

The Department of Counseling & Higher Education seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcome applicants at any time. This posting is for Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and opening to teach these courses develop on periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need is for courses to be taught that will encompass several aspects of Higher Education such as history, administration, budgeting and student issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctoral Degree in Higher Education or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Higher Education with expertise in history, administration, budget and student issues.
