The Department of Teacher Education and Administration seeks to improve educational practice through the generation of knowledge and to prepare professionals who serve students. Our focus is on the preparation of highly competent educators, educational researchers, and administrators who employ current theory and research as they fill these important roles. The department also provides service to educational institutions, governmental agencies, and practitioners at all levels.
UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.
Position Overview
The Department of Teacher Education & Administration seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at this time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and opening to teach these courses to develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned a master's degree in the appropriate field and at least 18 semester hours in the appropriate field for undergraduate courses.
Assignments associated with teaching graduate courses whose duties may include 5000 and 6000 level courses. A doctoral degree in the appropriate field and at least 18 semester hours in the appropriate field are required to be considered for teaching graduate level courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Higher education teaching experience.
Experience with online/hybrid instruction.
Earned doctoral degree.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
