Department Summary

The G. Brint Ryan College of Business is the choice of nearly 9,000 students, making it one of the largest business schools in the nation. Position Overview

This position will provide budget support for the RCOB. This will include being the contact person for faculty grants, helping the Sr. Director track payroll and other operational expenses, and create and maintain analytic reports to help senior leadership make informed decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with coursework in accounting, finance, business or related field and two years of progressively responsible financial administration or budget management experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Skill in collecting and analyzing data. Knowledge of budgetary principles, practices and procedures. Ability to prepare concise reports. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Knowledge of electronic information systems and accounting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with grants is preferred. A degree or experience with data analytics is preferred. Knowledge of and experience with UNT budget software and systems are preferred.

Required License/Registration/Certifications

 

Job Duties

  • Monitors revenues, expenditures, and balances within a variety of types of budgets, including, but not limited to, operating, travel, fees, and discretionary 
  • Collects and analyzes data to prepare reports at various schedules (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Participates in annual budget submission, merit raises, instructional fees, etc. -
  • Provides budgetary and revenue estimates 
  • First point of contact for PI and tracks expenses on grants 
  • Reconcile pcard reports for the college and act as a point of contact for questions related to the pcard procedures. 
  • Prepares and may approve a variety of forms including but not limited to personnel/payroll 
  • Analyzes data to determine needed corrections and initiates IDTs, ABAs, etc. 
  • Provides oversight of EPAR data entry procedures across the college. 
  • Provide budgetary support for accreditation processes. 
  • Participate in year-end close tasks. 
  • Process check deposits. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Food Service Supervisor for UNT Dining is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the dining facility, ensuring exceptional food quality, customer service, and overall efficiency. UNT Dining Administration, Graphic Design Specialist

As the department’s lead graphic designer, this employee will spend most of their time on print and digital graphic design projects. They will also oversee our Social Media and lead part-time employee(s) who execute web-related assignments. This position is part of Dining Services in-house marketing team. We produce a variety of print and digital media in support of the university’s award-winning Dining program, including dining halls, retail venues, a casual upscale restaurant, central bakery, full service catering operation and meal plans.
