Position Overview
The University of North Texas (UNT) Clark Bakery is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of bakery products, food items, Hot Boxes, and related materials to designated locations on and off campus. The position also assists with other bakery and delivery-related duties as assigned to support daily operations and ensure quality service to UNT departments and customers.
The Dining Associate works collaboratively with cooks, production staff, supervisors, and other dining team members to support timely meal preparation and service while following established food safety, sanitation, and operational standards. This role may provide support across various service areas as needed, helping maintain adequate staffing and smooth operations during meal periods.
The Dining Associate contributes to a welcoming and positive dining environment by maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked work and service areas, assisting with food preparation and service, and responding to operational needs in a professional and timely manner. The position is an important part of the Clark Bakery team and helps ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable dining experience for the UNT community.
Minimum Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Ability to operate box vans and box trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
Ability to develop plans to resolve issues in a proactive manner.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain records and complete forms accurately.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of the care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils.
Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed.

Valid Driver License and good driving record.
Job Duties
- Delivery and Transportation: Safely load, transport, and deliver bakery products, food items, Hot Boxes, and supplies to designated locations on and off campus in a timely manner. Product Handling and Service: Properly handle, secure, and maintain the quality and condition of food products and equipment during loading, transportation, and delivery while providing courteous service to customers and UNT departments. Operational Support: Assist with loading, unloading, cleaning, organization, and other bakery or delivery-related tasks as needed to support efficient daily operations. Other duties as assigned
