Position Overview

The Coordinator is an entry level position that oversees program digital marketing for programs with the intent to recruit students, sponsors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or three years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of program planning best practices Demonstrated knowledge of program evaluation Considerable knowledge of event and workshop planning strategies Current knowledge of sponsorship and fundraising best practices Strong presentation, problem solving, and critical thinking skills Ability to collect and analyze program data to establish annual goals and objectives Ability to
communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing Ability to develop and
maintain effective working relationships Ability to work independently

Job Duties:

  • Develops a vision and plans execution for communication and marketing strategies for workshops and events.
  • Collect, maintain, and utilize assessment data to evaluate and enhance digital marketing and communication.
  • Collaborate with UNT Dallas and program counterparts to ensure effective marketing and communication implementation.
  • Attend off-campus events to enhance awareness and increase outreach.

Physical Requirements:

  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

Environmental Hazards:

  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 9-1, some evenings and weekends.
