CVAD IT Service Desk
Position Overview
Intermediate-level position requires applicants to have hands-on IT experience. Supports a
wider range of systems and environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting software/network issues across platforms (Windows, MacOS,
Linux) and services (Wi-Fi, Canvas, Office365, printers).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Provide first-line support via phone, email, chat, and walk-up
- Perform basic fieldwork: pickups, deliveries, and in-person support
- Deploy and image computers, printers, and other devices
- Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues across platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and services (Wi-Fi, Canvas, Office365, printers)
- Participate in physical tasks (lifting, moving equipment)
- Provide support in classrooms and labs, including audio-visual support
- Participate in small to mid-scale project tasks and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Previous UNT IT experience as a student employee.

Job Duties

Operating machinery and/or power tools.
