Department Summary

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MTSE) at the University of North Texas located in Denton, TX focuses on the creation, application, and characterization of advanced engineering materials.

Position Overview

Perform literature review, conduct lab and computational studies, and draft papers

Minimum Qualifications

MS in material science and related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience in materials synthesis, additive manufacturing, computational work through CALPHAD and computational chemistry

Preferred Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Write report, draft manuscript. Present in group meeting and conferences, conduct experimental and computational research
