Department Summary

We provide a high quality education to our diverse student population through excellence and innovation in teaching and research in order to serve the scientific and engineering needs of the state of Texas and the nation. This will be achieved by a balance of formal course work, practical laboratory training, and research projects that encompass both the basic science and the applied aspects of materials science and engineering.

Position Overview

This position supports sponsored project-related research.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and document research clearly. Good communication skills for research collaboration.

Job Duties

  • Assist with research-related duties that are needed as required by the project. 
  • Document research clearly for record keeping and project purposes.
