Department Summary

Facilities Management Services is dedicated to providing services to the Health Science Center by maintaining an environment that is conducive to learning, teaching, and research.

Position Overview

Plumbing repair work and plumbing installation work in commercial buildings on college campus; including work on laboratories, bathrooms, and building infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

New plumbing installs. Commercial plumbing repair: faucet repair, flush valve repair, drain clearing, copper soldering, p.v.c. pipe joining, cast iron repair. Ability to read building blueprints. Ability to do material take offs.

Required License/Registration/Certifications

Texas Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing License

Job Duties

Plumbing installation work.
Occasional emergency after hours work.
Maintain plumbing shop, tools, and vehicles.
Attend yearly plumbing continuing education class.
Perform preventative maintenance schedule.
Work with various other departments in facilities as needed.
Complete work orders as they come into work order system.
Material procurement with purchasing credit card and monthly expense report.

Lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
Operating machinery and/or power tools.

The Senior Director of Lifelong Learning and Community Engagement provides administrative leadership for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNT. The senior director sets goals annually in collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of Donor Engagement and Advancement Services. Registrar Coordinator

This position supports the Academic Advising Support area in the Registrar’s Office and is responsible for facilitating processes efficiently for the maintenance and coordination of the degree audit system. Work is performed within various student platforms and information systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of academic data. This role requires maintaining various tracking documents that keep the area moving forward, prepping program proposals for team members, assisting in maintaining the accuracy of student records, and coordinating posting documents to the UNT website, as well as coordinating advisor trainings and the team calendar. This position requires a detail driven critical thinker, is technically proficient in diverse software platforms and understands interdependencies. Registrar Coordinators assist with the coordination of daily operations. The services and processing in this area directly affects enrollment and retention.

The Gibson D. Lewis Health Science Library Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a part-time, hourly librarian to support Lewis Library’s Education, Research, and Engagement efforts.

Parking & Transport Services Manager

This position is responsible for operations management and planning for Parking and Transportation Services, The incumbent in this position will provide leadership and direction for the universitys oncampus parking and transportation operations, manage resources, staff, and budget of the department. The Parking and Transportation Services Manager is accountable for managing the external operations of the department to ensure efficient access to and through the University as well as communicating this information to the campus community.

Clinical Research Coordinator III

This role will oversee three (3) specific sites, site coordinators and site raters and will perform the duties as a project manager. It will participate in the administration and monitoring of clinical research studies and trials and assist participants during the studies and projects.
