Department Summary

The Registrar's Office provides support services to students, faculty, staff and other constituents in the areas of academic advising support programs, course scheduling, enrollment, degree verification, transfer articulation, test credit, athletic certification and maintenance of student academic records, as well as handles state and federal reporting. Position Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing services in an area of Registrar area which may include: general registrar services, providing support for athletic certification, transfer articulation, graduation processing, degree verifications, or other specialized support within the Office of the Registrar. Duties include scheduling, reporting, evaluation of services offered, assisting with producing marketing content and materials, enforcing policies pertaining to assigned function, and maintaining security of facilities and materials. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree and two years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office and other related technologies or ability to quickly assimilate.
  • Skill in telephone etiquette and courteous communication with public, verbally and in writing, evaluating facts to trouble shoot issues.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers, telephones and copiers, filing and recordkeeping, English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation and basic math.
  • Knowledge of standard office policies and procedure's ability to quickly assimilate.

Job Duties:

  • Test credit application and maintenance.
  • Oversee the workflow and duties related to the maintenance and daily operations of transfer credit articulation.
  • Acts as an escalation point for issues and ensures proper procedures and communication protocols are followed.
  • Maintain organization ID tables to ensure proper articulation.
  • Utilize applications such as TES, Transferology, and uachieve to maximize articulation rules, education, and application.
  • Provide assistance to transcript processing workflow during peak times.
  • Completes all required training as assigned.
