Position Overview
This position is responsible for faculty and staff job postings and hiring; payroll; onboarding; summer payroll and serves as the liaison to the UNT System Human Resources Office.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

- Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.

- Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively. Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
- Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
- Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function. Supervisory skills.

Job Duties
- Initiates faculty and staff onboarding process. Maintains contact with candidate, staff and faculty, to ensure completion of onboarding. Communication is routed to appropriate departments within RCOB to ensure technology and other access is requested as needed.
- Attend payroll training sessions and maintains up to date information regarding payroll processes. Communicates to departments/centers/divisions new policies, procedures.
- Completes paperwork for posting positions both faculty staff at the request of the Chair of Department or supervisor of position. Collects required signatures and approvals from administrators/deans to ensure postings are accurate. Works with UNT System/Campus HR.
- Serves as the HR Liaison to UNT system HR. Attend campus/system HR meetings. Remains updated on UNT/UNT System HR/Payroll Policies. Communicates in a professional and timely manner with others on campus regarding HR related issues.
- Advises on staff evaluation processes. Works in collaboration with Department Chairs, Center Directors, and Supervisors to ensure completion. First point of contact for job reclassifications, equity reviews, and market adjustments.
