Department Summary
The Study Abroad Office is responsible for coordinating the university’s study abroad and exchange programs. Study Abroad has a mandate to expand student participation and to integrate study abroad into the UNT curriculum. We aim to develop new opportunities to meet the unique needs of the UNT community and increase student access to global educational experiences.
Position Overview
The Student Assistant for Study Abroad and Passport Services will be the primary point of contact for UNT students, faculty, staff, and the general public. A successful candidate will be trained to answer frequently asked questions about passport services as well as study abroad.

Bachelor's Degree

- Demonstrated, organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and many interruptions.
Job Duties:
- Interaction with faculty, staff, students and community members on the phone, via email and in person.
- Assist the Study Abroad staff as needed with completing administrative tasks and assisting with applicants.
- Ensure that the Study Abroad office is kept orderly, neat, and tidy at all times.
