The Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of North Texas (UNT), housed within the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, offers a comprehensive education in logistics, operations, and supply chain disciplines. Position Overview
The adjunct faculty member in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of North Texas will teach undergraduate courses in areas such as supply chain, logistics, purchasing, operations, transportation, supply chain, materials management, manufacturing planning and control, lean manufacturing, and project management. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction, maintaining industry relevance, and supporting student learning through office hours and timely feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree in the discipline or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to the assigned courses(s).
Preferred Qualifications
• Academic Credentials: A doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.B.A., or equivalent) in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
• Teaching Experience: Demonstrated success in teaching undergraduate or graduate-level courses, particularly in areas such as logistics, operations, sourcing, or supply chain analytics.
• Industry Expertise: Relevant professional experience in supply chain roles, including management, consulting, analytics, or operations, which enhances practical instruction.
• Curriculum Development: Experience designing and delivering course content that aligns with AACSB standards and incorporates applied learning strategies.
• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), and tools such as Excel, SAP, Tableau, or other supply chain and analytics platforms
