Position Overview
The Student Leadership and Success Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and programmatic support to the Executive Director and the Student Leadership and Success Department. This position serves as a central point of coordination for departmental operations, student engagement initiatives, events, communications, budgeting processes, data management, and program logistics.
The Administrative Coordinator works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, community partners, and university departments to ensure the successful implementation of student leadership, scholarship, retention, and success programs. The position plays a critical role in supporting departmental effectiveness, enhancing student experiences, and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's and one year of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

- Proficiency with databases, student information systems, and digital communication platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
- Communications, or a related field.
- Experience working in higher education, student affairs, academic affairs, or nonprofit organizations.
- Experience supporting scholarship, leadership development, retention, or mentoring programs.
- Experience with event planning and large-scale program coordination.
- Experience with budget tracking, purchasing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience using student information systems, CRM platforms, or data management software.
- Graphic design, marketing, or social media experience.
Job Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Student Leadership and Success staff.
- Coordinate departmental calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and communications.
- Support student programs including Trailblazer Elite, Presidential Scholars, Conrad Leadership Program, Early College High School initiatives, and other student success programs.
- Assist with budget tracking, purchasing, expense reconciliation, and financial documentation.
- Manage departmental records, databases, reports, and student tracking systems.
- Coordinate events, workshops, leadership programs, orientations, and recognition ceremonies.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, agendas, and meeting materials.
- Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, community partners, and external stakeholders.
- Support assessment, data collection, and reporting efforts related to student success outcomes.
- Assist with marketing, communications, website updates, newsletters, and social media content.
- Supervise student workers, interns, and graduate assistants as assigned.
