Position Overview
The Business Analyst Intern is an entry-level position. The intern is responsible for participating of learning and implementing core curriculum concepts and competencies as outlined by UNT Dallas Programs. The intern observes proactively participating in professional development initiatives, cohort challenges, group project presentations, and individual deliverables that showcase a clear understanding of the core concepts and competencies.
Minimum Qualifications
• Undergraduate student 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with people form diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
• Ability to manage multiple projects high-level projects concurrently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Dr. Emmett J. Conrad Leadership Program Scholar
• Minimum 2.5 G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale
• Interests in leadership development and professional services
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, or Marketing and Communications or related degree

Job Duties:
- Serve as a brand ambassador for UNT Dallas' Trailblazer Elite and Conrad Leadership programs, engaging in various events and activities throughout the internship.
- Aid the Program Manager Intern in managing social media accounts and newsletters for the programs, crafting content to boost online visibility and promote achievements.
- Work closely with UNT Dallas counterparts to ensure smooth program implementation and increased impact.
- Assist in organizing and executing program events and networking sessions, handling logistics and on-site support.
- Research leadership development best practices, focusing on business and technology trends.
- Participate in weekly one-on-one meetings with supervisors to provide structured task updates.
- Engage in volunteer initiatives to benefit the local community.
- Present a final internship presentation showcasing mastery of acquired competencies.
- Collaborate on program evaluation, including survey design and data analysis, to enhance program effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver recruitment, impact, and end of year reports and presentations for the programs.
- Adhere to University of North Texas at Dallas' Trailblazer Elite and Conrad Leadership programs' policies and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. OR 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Some weekends.
