HSC Health primary and multispecialty care offices are located on the HSC, Denton and Dallas UNT System campuses, focusing on improving health outcomes to build healthier communities.
Care includes mobile health initiatives and extends to hospitals, surgery centers, long-term/continuing care centers, and in-home care. HSC Health’s interprofessional teams work collaboratively to achieve an optimized treatment plan tailored to the individual patient.

Position Overview
We're seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join our growing practice. This position will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services to a diverse patient population. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and achieving optimal dermatological outcomes, with the added benefit of participating in medical student education and the training of dermatology residents.
Minimum Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited medical school. Licensed to practice medicine in another state or have completed at least two years of postgraduate residency (not limited to the United States) Passed the Texas Medical Jurisprudence Examination.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to practice medicine within the scope of license, training and credentials.
Ability to communicate effectively with wide range of populations verbally and in writing.
Ability to care for a wide range of patient population.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
MD or DO
Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program
Active Texas medical licenses
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Job Duties:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic skin, hair, and nail conditions, including inflammatory dermatoses, skin cancers, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and personalized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
- Perform dermatological in-office procedures and surgeries ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Actively participate in the clinical training and mentorship of medical students and dermatology residents, providing direct supervision during patient examinations, case discussions, procedural training, and didactic sessions, fostering their professional development and clinical skills.
- Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, consulting with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure holistic and integrated patient management, including appropriate referrals and follow-up care.
- Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) in compliance with professional and legal standards. Remain current with the latest advancements in dermatology through ongoing medical education, research, and participation in professional organizations.
