The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) exists to support and further the mission of the University by developing, delivering, and advocating for services and programs that unite and support students’ academic and life pursuits. Position Overview
This position will play a crucial role in helping students develop leadership skills, adapting to workforce needs, fostering partnerships with colleges to bridge the curricular and co-curricular experience, and overseeing Fraternity and Sorority Life at UNT.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and six years of professional experience that is conducive to both leadership development and supporting fraternities and sororities; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: Masters degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or an equivalent degree program. Six years of direct Fraternity Sorority Life experience. Experience supervising fulltime employees. Experience managing budgets.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties:
- Provides strategic oversight for all programs and services designed to create a comprehensive leadership experience for students, including the oversight of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
- Provides direct supervisor to 4 full-time staff members and indirect supervision to an additional full-time staff member, 3-4 graduate assistants, and multiple student assistants/leaders.
- Develops and sustains cooperative relationships with academic departments, faculty members, university departments and divisions, and external partners, including corporate partners to keep a pulse on workforce needs.
- Allocates and manages departmental budget. Develops annual budget requests and works with DSA Advancement to seek external funding opportunities.
- Establishes and manages departmental strategic and assessment plan, including the development of expected and learning outcomes.
- Effectively communicates to all stakeholders, including students, chapter advisors, house corporations, and national offices.
- Understands national trends and risk management practices related to Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) and educates the FSL and university community on key pieces.

M-F, 8am-5pm, some nights and weekends
