Department Summary

The purpose of the video position is to be a connection between the coaches and the practice and game tape. It is also to provide IT support and manage the XOS network for the department. Also, provide support to a couple of other sports in our department.

The purpose of the video position is to be a connection between the coaches and the practice and game tape. It is also to provide IT support and manage the XOS network for the department. Also, provide support to a couple of other sports in our department.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in in related field and three years' of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: * Three years of experience using XOS Thunder or DV Sport. * One year of professional experience using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or Avid. * Prefer demonstration of highlight videos and/or film breakdown.

Required License/Registration/Certifications

Job Duties:

• Taping and importing/editing football practices and games. 
• Administrator for the XOS network operating and overseeing for the coaches. 
• Exchange film through DragonFly within Conference USA. Working with other video coordinators to ensure the timely distribution of the video. 
• Managing the schedules and duties for the student video staff for each practice and game day. 
• Responsible for the maintenance and purchasing of all video equipment. Makes sure we are updated on all software, equipment, etc. Performs regular checks on all equipment. 
• Oversees all meeting space where video is shown at the football complex and at the home and away football trips. 

Work Schedule:

M-F 8AM – 5:00PM; Occasional Evenings and Weekends
