Digital Growth (DG) is responsible for building and growing the UNT Online brand and helping students connect with world-class education opportunities wherever they are. The DG department created and maintains online.unt.edu which serves as the aggregate website for all online programs offered at UNT. DG also offers strategic marketing, recruitment, and research services and works closely with academic partners to find innovative growth opportunities for current and potential new programs.
Position Overview
We're looking for a creative and analytically-minded Graphic Designer to join our team.
This Digital Marketing Design Specialist works collaboratively with the DSI Digital Growth team and UNT academic partners to support the growth of online programs and innovative new program offerings.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or related field and two years' of professional graphic arts work experience in print, video, and/or electronic media production, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Intermediate knowledge of the methods and equipment used in electronic data processing, including system analysis and design, and computer programming techniques.
• Strong skill in writing programs for computer applications.
• Strong skill in analyzing and solving complex data processing and computing problems.
• Ability to coordinate a work team and train lower level programmers and analysts for specific tasks or assignments.
• Ability to communicate technical and other information to a variety of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles
- Experience with marketing analytics tools
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties:
- Design engaging digital marketing and various creative assets. Provides creative oversite of the UNT Online brand.
- Conceptualize design based on prospect personas and market data. Analyze market data to measure ROI and creative campaign effectiveness. Optimize creative strategies based on performance metrics.
- Source and select appropriate photography and creative elements for campaigns. Maintains creative archives and digital assets, utilizing university-approved graphics software and systems. Adheres to university graphic and branding standards and to deadlines, schedules, and budgets.
Work Schedule:
M-F from 8am-5pm with remote flexibility
