Department Summary

The UNT Health Fort Worth Pediatric Clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and family-centered care for children from infancy through 18 years of age. As part of the University of North Texas Health Science Center, our clinic combines high-quality medical care with academic excellence, research, and community engagement.

Position Overview

This position is for a PA or NP to wok full time in a primary care pediatric practice birth to 18 years of age to keep pace with renewed growing clinical practice. Work full time in the Health Pavilion with clinical and academic responsibilities with patients and medical students.

Minimum Qualifications

NP or PA Texas Medical License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Patient care in an outpatient setting for patients newborn to 18 years of age.

Required License/Registration/Certifications

NP or PA Texas Medical License

Job Duties

Work in a busy pediatric clinic, 9.5 clinic sessions per week.
Seeing patients from infancy to 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

Communicating with others to exchange information.
Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
Lifting and Moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

Student Services Coordinator

For this position, the Career Center at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Student Services Coordinator (Career Advisor) to join the College of Science team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Lead efforts toward planning and implementing career development and job search programs and services to students, by working with students, faculty and staff in the College of Science. Individual advising and group workshops. Partnering with academic advisors and counselors in the college to support internship goals for their assigned department, working with the Career Center internship specialist to assist with ensuring that available internships meet all departmental requirements for credit and the students that apply are eligible for the internship. Cultivate and manage relationships with current and new employers recruiting students from assigned department, in partnership with the assigned department and the UNT Career Center.
