Position Overview
JOB LOCATED IN FRISCO - TEAM ATMOSPHERE This position will facilitate the daily operations of Frisco Landing and provide support to the Director of Operations. The Operations Coordinator will also support UNT at Frisco and any visiting faculty and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Exceptional customer service skills. Advanced written communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures. Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others. Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats. Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively. Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness. Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships. Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.

Job Duties
- Student Employment Recruitment • Review candidates using Handshake platform; conduct interviews, recommend students for hire • Serve as liaison with Student Employment and Payroll to resolve issues or ensure policy compliance.
- Supervise Student Assistants • Conduct New Employee Orientation and review Student Employee Handbook • Facilitate continued training through first 30-60-90 day training schedule • Track training competency using quizzes and Bridge and provide feedback through completion • Schedule & coordinate peer-to-peer training and feedback • Conducts performance reviews and provides constructive feedback and corrective action for improvement • Develops and facilitates semi-annual training/reskilling workshops for student employees • Review and approve timesheets • Create seasonal staffing schedules
- Emergency Management: • Enacts emergency procedures as appropriate demonstrating good decision-making skills • Assists emergency responders with any building, communication, personnel, or guest needs • Complete incident reports
- PM Building Manager • Support operational staff and building occupants during evening hours • Audit and assist with operations PM duties such as inspect classrooms cleanliness, room configuration, window blind functionality, room scheduling panels, usage of common areas • Submit work orders for building issues, repairs or equipment maintenance and service calls • Assist with building closing procedures when scheduled • Coordinate and communicate with PM staff such as Welcome Desk, Police, and other departmental staff
- Event Support • Assist event team with room reservation entries • Coordinate evening event set-up, take-down, and communications • Provide event support for weekend events as needed - ()
- UNTF Safety Coordinator • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections • Monitor and inspect AED and fire extinguishers monthly; Report any issues to Work Control • Serve on UNTF Safety Committee • Stay up to date on safety and emergency training
- Operations Support • Purchase, organize and monitor supplies • Maintain inventory & storage • Assist with the Keywatcher system for key check-out • Monitor & maintain swag inventory & organization • Provide front desk coverage as needed

Work Schedule
Hours: 10:00-7:00 Mon-Thur | 8:00-5:00 Fri |flexible depending on building & event needs. Some weekend and evening are expected.
