Position Overview
A highly motivated and highly creative person is sought to join Dong Laboratory studying formulation and drug delivery. The researcher in this position will have opportunity to study oral formulation technology
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree. If not yet conferred, a letter from the school's official Graduate Office and/or Registrar's Office certifying that all requirements have been met and stating the degree conferral date can be accepted.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Project organization/management skills
- Advanced training in quantitative research methods
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of laboratory research experience in appropriate scientific discipline
- Proven expertise in relevant in vitro and in vivo research techniques
- Hand-on experiences on various analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS and DSC.
- Possess excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills to become a leader in the lab
- Experience in drafting and writing manuscripts, posters and presentations

Job Duties:
- Develop and characterize formulations and drug delivery systems for oral drugs or lipid drug delivery systems
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo studies such as cell, pharmacokinetics and bio-distribution studies
- Plan and study proposed projects, execute data collection and analysis
- Write and submit posters, grants, presentations, and peer-reviewed manuscripts for publication based on laboratory research
- Possibly assist and train laboratory personnel and students in research methods, procedures and equipment related to the proposed projects
