Position Overview
As a Recruiter within our values-driven community, you will be at the forefront of sourcing and interviewing prospective employees, playing a key role in shaping our workforce. You will develop targeted recruiting strategies that align with the specific needs of our business units, tapping into a rich mix of external and internal sources to discover exceptional candidates. Collaborating closely with hiring managers, you will determine the essential skills, experience, and values-based behaviors for each role, while also promoting our brand at community events. Your efforts will ensure that our core values are reflected in every new member who joins our team.
We are currently hiring for multiple Recruiter positions at both senior and mid-levels. Candidates who apply will be considered for the role that best aligns with their qualifications and experience.
The minimum qualifications for a Senior Recruiter are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and seven (7) years of progressive corporate and/or higher education experience with a focus on specialty recruiting.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and four (4) years of progressive and varied recruitment experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws relating to the recruitment and employment functional areas of Human Resources
* Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems
* Skill in using office computer information systems to organize, store, manipulate, and retrieve data
* Highly effective communication skills both orally and in writing
* Critical thinking skills
* Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple assignments and competing priorities
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
* Focused on providing a high level of customer service and follow through

Job Duties:

- % - Responsible for providing full life-cycle recruitment to source, evaluate, and recruit top talent into the organization to align with UNT needs, including management of executive and high-volume recruitment. Manages the selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, and recommending the most suitable finalists to hiring managers and search committees. - (Essential)
- % - Proactively collaborates with hiring managers to develop, implement, and evaluate specialized recruiting strategies by proactively recruiting well-qualified candidate pipelines from a variety of internal and external sources to meet the workforce needs of multiple business units. - (Essential)
- % - Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers, guiding them on recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to understand role requirements, resource allocation, and compensation. Additionally, provide training on compliance-related matters. - (Essential)
- % - As a Human Resources department representative, you will be actively involved in campus events, offering our expertise to support our campus partners. Your role will include promoting the university's values and opportunities at community events, such as job fairs, to attract and engage potential candidates. - (Essential)
