The Registrar's Office provides support services to students, faculty, staff and other constituents in the areas of academic advising support programs, course scheduling, enrollment, degree verification, transfer articulation, test credit, athletic certification and maintenance of student academic records, as well as handles state and federal reporting.

Position Overview
This position supports transfer credit processing and is responsible for the maintenance and coordination of student records within various software platforms and student information systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of academic data. This role requires direct interaction with students, former students, faculty, and staff, processing data-driven requests, and ensuring compliance with a range of institutional, state, and federal regulations.
This position requires a detail driven critical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in using diverse software platforms to provide accurate, timely support. This position provides crucial front-line interactions with students, faculty and staff through targeted communications and documentation related to student records and office procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and one year of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skill in telephone etiquette and courteous communication with public, verbally and in writing. Ability to evaluate facts or situation to route calls/customers appropriately. Strong customer service skills. Basic MS Office skills. Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers, telephones and copiers, filing and recordkeeping, English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation and basic math. Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing through formal and informal communication structures. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work both as a group and independently.
Job Duties
- Serve as front line contact for customer inquiries through multiple software systems, providing professional guidance and support.
- Provide interpretation of academic policies and procedures to students, faculty, and staff, and by serving as a knowledgeable resource on PeopleSoft functionality and student records workflows.
- Interpret and comply with applicable policies at the state, federal, and university level when resolving and responding to customer requests and inquiries.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve customer issues and improve workflow and determine need for escalation of complex or time sensitive inquiries.
- Rapidly learn a variety of complex software systems and establish technical proficiency to process, research, and respond to customer requests.
- Analyze request patterns and provide feedback on potential process improvements.
