The Registrar's Office provides support services to students, faculty, staff and other constituents in the areas of academic advising support programs, course scheduling, enrollment, degree verification, transfer articulation, test credit, athletic certification and maintenance of student academic records, as well as handles state and federal reporting.

Position Overview
This position supports records and registration and is responsible for facilitating processes efficiently for the maintenance and coordination of student records and serves as the first level of escalation for problem resolution. Work is performed within various student platforms and information systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of academic data. This role requires direct interaction with students, former students, faculty, and staff, processing data-driven requests, and ensuring compliance with a range of institutional, state, and federal regulations.
This position requires a detail driven critical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is technically proficient in diverse software platforms and understands interdependencies. This position provides crucial front-line interactions and training for students, faculty and staff through targeted communications and documentation related to student record maintenance, processes, and procedures. Registrar Coordinators supervise a team of student workers and assist with the coordination of daily operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and two years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and other related technologies or ability to quickly assimilate. Skill in telephone etiquette and courteous communication with public, verbally and in writing, evaluating facts to trouble shoot issues. Strong customer service skills. Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers, telephones and copiers, filing and recordkeeping, English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation and basic math. Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures ability to quickly assimilate.

Quality customer service skills, responsible, dependable, and professional. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Dedication to customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate services. Flexibility to change tasks quickly. Bachelors degree. Supplemental pay for fluent Spanish-speaking staff.
Job Duties
- Manages a team of student workers including: hiring, training, evaluating, planning, timekeeping, scheduling and assigning work activities.
- Effectively communicates a broad range of policy and procedural information to students, former students, faculty and staff. Interprets policy and aids stakeholders in resolution of problems including escalations and troubleshooting for their area of specialization.
- Performs system testing related to platform upgrades and business process changes.
- Drafts and updates internal business process documentation.
- Prepares, analyzes and monitors reports and maintains statistical data on productivity output.
- Rapidly learns a variety of complex software systems and maintains technical proficiency to process, research, and respond to customer requests.
