Department Summary
The Institute for Translational Research is devoted to bringing novel diagnostics and interventions to patients and families suffering from neurodegenerative diseases, fostering translational research in neurodegenerative diseases at UNTHSC, and create solutions for a healthier community. Our team spans basic "bench-top" science, clinical research, community-based research and clinical trials. Our translational approach is intended to foster discovery and expedite those discoveries toward the benefit of those suffering from brain disease. A particular emphasis of ITR is the development of personalized (or person-focused) medicine for Alzheimer's disease.
Position Overview
This position will be responsible for assisting the ITR IT/Data Core with ITR metrics and data for all the current and upcoming ITR studies and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and one year experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.

Job Duties:
- Data entry for multiple projects.
- Data collection process maintenance.
- Coordination of data entry.
- QC checks on data.
- Maintain protocol documentation.
- Statistical analysis on data releases.
- Neuro scoring as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Environmental Hazards:
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm; On Site
