Department Summary
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy (UNT-SCP) will contribute to the development of the educational, research, and service programs of the Department. The faculty will report to the Chair of the Department. The faculty of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences will provide expertise toward the basic sciences side of the pharmaceutical sciences such as pharmaceutical discovery, formulation, and delivery. The Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at the UNT System College of Pharmacy is located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth. Ranked among the top 50 medical schools for seven consecutive years, UNT Health is a 33-acre graduate school located in the city’s Cultural District with a local economic impact of $500 million annually. The UNT System College of Pharmacy is the first pharmacy school in Texas located on an academic health science center campus. Position Overview
Participate in the administration and monitoring of clinical research studies and/or clinical trials. Analyze and evaluate clinical data gathered during research. Ensure compliance with protocol and overall clinical objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and one year experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of scientific research techniques, methods and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with fellow researchers, staff members, faculty, supervisors and students.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Academic writing skills.
Job Duties
- Conduct surgical studies in accordance with protocol, data collection procedures and documentation standards.
- Conduct behavioral testing Scoring of data QC of files and data collected.
- Maintain accurate records, code and verify data in accordance with specified research protocol and coding procedures enter data into a computer database and/or spreadsheet application for subsequent analysis.
- Manage data and coordinate data entry Run quality control checks, merge files, statistical analysis, run research protocols.
