About Us - Values Overview:
Department Summary
The UNT Green Brigade is a 400-member organization made up of woodwinds, brass, drumline, color guard, and leadership team. They perform at all home football games and have traditionally travelled to two away games per year. Recent bowl travel includes trips in the DFW Area. The Green Brigade performs a corps-style production each home game. Shows are designed to entertain the football crowds, serve the large student population as a performance and teaching platform, and provide an educational outreach to the music education community. Drawing music from a variety of musical styles, the show is custom designed and written each season. Performance in the stands during the football game occurs constantly and is a priority. Percussion enrollment is approximately 40 members, selected through audition. Most members major in music, but non-majors are often included.

Attendance is required at all home game rehearsals and performances. If the band travels to an away football game (including bowl games), attendance is expected.
