Position Overview
We invite applications for a dynamic Assistant Professor of Accounting to join our growing academic community. This role offers a balanced and rewarding portfolio during the probation period, with responsibilities across research (50%), teaching (40%), and service (10%). We welcome candidates from all areas of accounting, with a particular interest in those who can contribute to our strong teaching needs in financial accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging scholar who is passionate about impactful research and publications in premier accounting journals, and engaging, high-quality teaching to shape the next generation of accounting professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Accounting or PhD in Business or Management with an Accounting emphasis. ABDs will be considered but must have degree in hand by the start date.
Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience; Professional Certification.
