Position Overview
Works as a flexible member of the G. Brint Ryan College of Business IT Support team (BITS) to maintain and troubleshoot Help Desk support issues. The employee will provide primary and secondary technical support to faculty, staff, and students. Assist in the upgrade, installation, and maintenance of computers, lab equipment, and software. Utilize the call tracking system to document all work performed. The employee will provide technical support for all PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and all end user support in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business support area.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related computing work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
*Prior experience with Windows OS, equipment and software may be specified as needed by department.
* Knowledge of principles of computing and communications networks, and characteristics of computing hardware and software used in distributed environment.
* Ability to operate computer keyboards and to install computer hardware.
* Ability to assimilate, retain and utilize technical and applications-oriented information.
Preferred Qualifications
Understands computer systems, is able to utilize critical thinking skills, SCCM/Intune skills.

Job Duties
- Workstation Deployment Build and Knowledgebase Maintenance
- Mac Deployment Build and Mac Support
- Scripting and Automation Support with Computer Support
- Assist with Infrastructure Change Management
- Assist with Centralized management software such as AD/Intune.
- Assist with Centralized security software such as Crowdstrike/Rapid7
- Team Mentoring and Supervisor Backup When Needed
- Complete special projects as assigned
Physical Requirements
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
