Department Summary

The Office of Admissions is a vital contributor to the enrollment success at the University of North Texas through student outreach, recruitment endeavors, and a commitment to providing personalized assistance to students throughout the college application and admissions process.

Position Overview

The Office of Admissions, at the University of North Texas, is seeking to hire a Director, Graduate Recruitment to assist in recruiting and admissions functions, under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Enrollment. This position is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive recruitment plan, addressing graduate populations, to meet the goals of the university.

The Director, Graduate Recruitment will lead efforts to target growth for the university by collaborating with campus partners and overseeing the implementation of recruitment plans. This position will direct efforts to increase the entire university’s graduate student enrollment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education experience required: Bachelor's Degree in related field and six years' of closely related professional experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of strategic planning principles.
  • In depth knowledge of admissions processing.
  • Ability to develop effective reports for decision making.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other student information systems or ability to quickly assimilate.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree preferred.

Driver's License

Job Duties:

  • Provide continuous evaluation and implement improvements as necessary to keep plan effective and successful.
  • Analyze and report on statistical and comparative data concerning recruitment efforts to enable strategic recruitment and the effective advancement to university goals.
  • Lead and offers direct supervision of the graduate recruiters within the Office of Admissions.
  • Collaborate with University Recruitment Communications and Marketing to improve and enhance recruitment marketing and communications and to develop new marketing campaigns.
  • Provide creative influence for CRM improvements and advancements.
  • Work closely with university partners, external constituents, and Admissions leadership team to align processes and efficiently and effectively reach the division's and university's goals.
  • Advise on, and monitor, budget relating recruitment efforts.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM; occasional overtime and weekends
