Department Summary
The Enrollment Management Division at the University of North Texas Health Science Center serves all potential, existing and former students. It is made up of Financial Aid, Records and Enrollment and Admissions & Recruitment.
Position Overview
The Enrollment Communications Coordinator supports digital marketing initiatives, particularly email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. They will collaborate with EM team members to ensure content alignment with overall marketing strategies and assist in executing campaigns in a timely manner to engage prospective students and other key stakeholders effectively. They will also work with admissions counselors, faculty, and other university departments to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy alignment, while collaborating with various communication staff throughout the university to maintain consistency in messaging and branding across all channels. They will collaborate with Deans and senior division leaders to craft messaging to promote the university to prospective and newly admitted students, as well as other stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Ability to interact with a wide range of UNTHSC personalities
* Ability to synthesize highly technical and scientific data and present it in a understandable format to a lay audience
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working in an admissions or enrollment management setting.
•Familiarity with common content creation programs (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms.
•Demonstrated ability to create engaging multimedia content.
•Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Job Duties:
- Content Creation and Management: Develop and manage strategies and compelling content for various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, print materials, video campaigns, and more. Ensure compliance with university branding standards and explore innovative communication tools. Support the adherence of all published content to accessibility standards, accommodating diverse users and devices. Provide accessibility and brand training and guidance to EM staff and review materials for compliance.
- Social Media Management: Manage the Admissions & Recruitment social media channels, including content planning, posting, and engagement in collaboration with department directors. Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the Admissions & Recruitment team to align social media efforts with overall recruitment strategies. Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Adapt strategies and content to leverage new trends and ensure the university remains competitive and relevant in the digital landscape.
- Digital Marketing & Marketing Cloud: Writing and designing engaging email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud in conjunction with Director. Craft compelling email copy and design elements that engage recipients and drive desired actions. Coordinate team messaging to ensure email content aligns with overall marketing strategies and university messaging. Support the timely execution of email campaigns to prospective students and other key stakeholders.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional evenings or weekends as required for divisional events.
