Department Summary
The Division of Enrollment Management within the University of North Texas Health Science Center encompasses Admissions & Recruitment, Financial Aid and Student Records & Enrollment. This team assists students from the beginning of their academic journey through their degree completion at UNTHSC.
Position Overview
The Enrollment Services Specialist serves in a general capacity as a facilitator of Admissions and Records/Registration issues for students and faculty and in a specific capacity as a problem-solving coordinator for any complexities or challenges to the Division of Enrollment Management and the students and faculty with which enrollment services interacts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of PeopleSoft/EIS experience
- Higher Education experience
- Great attention to detail
- Independent judgement and decision-making skills
Job Duties:
- Responsible for interacting with students and potential students in regard to residency determinations.
- Processes applications in CAS systems, including verifying requirements are met, uploading materials and overall facilitating the processing of information.
- Manages email inquiries, assists with application review/screening and provides support to other staff members in the office on an as needed basis.
- Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of data entering into People Soft/Enterprise Information System (EIS).
- Assists with scanning of application materials and managing electronically transmitted images and in removing out of date images (if an update occurs on a document).
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional evenings or weekends as required for divisional events. Some remote work required.
