The UNT Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) offers a comprehensive offers a comprehensive range of programs, from undergraduate to doctoral, with a focus on both theoretical and practical aspects of biomedical engineering.
Position Overview
This position supports the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded project by developing a new approach based on enzyme stimulating of peptides for targeting drug resistance breast cancers. The research assistant will collaborate with the Pl to model, simulate, and analyze wireless signal behavior in various environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in research laboratory protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently and document research code clearly. Good communication skills for research collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous research or internship experience in a research laboratory.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with the Pl and research team for regular updates and planning.
Work Schedule:
Up to 20 hours per week
