Department Summary
The UNT Career Center is the centralized career office responsible for the career readiness and growth of all UNT students and alumni. It has responsibility for all Student Career Education, Student Employment, Internships, Employment, and Post-Graduate Employment of UNT students.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for providing mid-level administrative support to the UNT Career Center. Coordinates activities and acts as a system-wide liaison. Identifies issues or problems and researches solutions within specific management areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.

* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
Job Duties
- Provides support to the office/area and acts as a resource to assist in the resolution of various administrative matters.
- Responsible for the accurate maintenance of a budget (across multiple accounts), purchasing, and travel for the department.
- Assists with or may be responsible for various special projects in support of the department.
- Responsible for a variety of logistics room scheduling, special events, and the timely delivery of materials to stakeholders.
- Identifies issues or problems and researches solutions within specific areas.
- Other duties as assigned by AVP of Career Center.
- Responsible for the collection of data and its analysis, the preparation of materials for meeting and conferences, as well as provide assistance with the completion of reports.

- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
